I came here in 1988. I was divorced and had two kids. I got married to a USC in February, 1990 and got my GC in early 1991. My wife also sponsored my kids and they also came here in 1991. I naturalized in 1994. In 1999 I and my USC wife divorced and I started living with my kids and she got custody of our 3 kids born here.
In 2001, through one friend, I met a lady and thereafter we got married. My present wife is also from my country and was a widow. I sponsored her and last month we went for interview.
By coincidence or due to my bad luck, my present wife's first and last name are the same that of my first wife in my country. My first wife had a middle name also but my present wife does not have any middle name. Date of birth and place of birth are also different.
At interview, the Interviewing officer suspected this marriage my present wife is my first wife and that my marriage here was sham marriage to get legalization. Interviewing Officer, has not stamped my wife's passport. He has also recommended that my Citizenship be revoked and has sent me a letter to that effect and intent to deport my wife, who had entered the United States illegally through Canada.
I am totally lost about this. Please help me anybody. Any help will be appreciated.
God Bless.
