Me and my husband applied for AOS in June 02. Currently, my husband is in the US on H-4 visa and he is also a canadian permanent resident but an Indian citizen. He will be eligible to apply for canadian citizenship in Nov 02. What are the consequences if any, if his citizenship changes due to naturalization while the AOS is under way ? If there are any, would there be any problems if he applies for Canadian citizenship after he gets his green card.
