Who is the liar? First you claim that the officer goaded your wife into lying, but then claimed she did not give an answer. Then you claim it was based on the U.S. not recognizing consular divorces. And you can't get a divorce in U.S. District Court. You have to get a divorce in a State court. Since you are already married you can also be prosecuted for bigamy.

You should have received a Intent to Deny letter which would have given you time to submitt additional evidence. Worse case scenario is that she goes into removal proceedings where you will be able to prove that the marriage is legitimate. The AOS approval percentages are much higher in court then at USCIS.
