Arab and Muslim countries are experiencing more and more security checks. Situations are a bit more relax in Asia where a Chinese friend of mine recently got approved another F1 visas(the previously "two entries" were used up).

It really depends on individual cases...just be patient...

Where do you get the idea that they're "more relaxed" in the Asian countries. I work in an international students office, and from what I have heard in China, and India it is very difficult to obtain a student visa. One of the magazines that we get in our office had a 2-page article about how diffucult it was for Chinese students, even with excellent previous college grades, and test scores, to obtain a student visa.
