Are there states that have no separation period requirement for divorce?

Georgia has a short divorce. It's short sweet and right to the point. You can go to an office max or office depot and get the divorce kit, fill it out, file it and have a court date within 60 days and it's all said an done. Easy as pie!!!

i think it also depends on the couple as well ... if the couple recognize they're better off as being "just friends" then it could go smoothly .... but if you're my ex-hubby, it could go on as long as two years!!
amazing the delay tactics an illegal and his attorney can conjure up!

Many states have no separation requirement (principally, those that recognize no fault grounds) but most states require that someone petitioning for divorce has been a resident for a certain period of time. If you're in need to divorce, you may want to check that out as well.
