I don't know but if this helps,I filed for my Mother in Dec. of 2001(TSC) and just last week a recieved the letter of approval and my file was sent to the National Visa Center, I am not sure how long the rest of the process will take

If you two are US Citizens and have file for your Parents, It will not take that long for the approval, It should be approved within one months. But that not all from Service Center it will go to NVC that takes about three weeks to a month. NVC will send this file to the Embassy/Consulate which takes another 6 to 8 weeks. Then Embassy/Consulate will send the letter to the beneficiary with check list to collect all documents required for the issuance of the Immigration visa. Hope all set for now.
