You don't have to study too hard, as you get fifty percent right by random guessing. Just have to study for the one question.

Just because you're only asked 10 questions doesn't mean you don't have to learn all of them. Like the drivers license test - you don't know what 50 questions you're going to be asked, so you have to study the whole kitkaboodle in order to pass.

Off-topic - I got my full Nevada drivers license last week. Yay!
for the new driver's license Aroha. Did they ask 15 questions too?

I agree about studying as much as you can about US history and civics - I think it's part of being a good citizen and not just to pass a test.

I typed all 100 questions into a program called Quiz4Win which randomly picks a question and gives multiple choice type answers. Is a good way to help remember the answers.

I believe you and I am sure the test is there for a reason. But the test is like taking the CPR classes and the test. You can not fail though, even though you pay for it and take the test, everyone will pass. They'll go over with you,for the missing questions...but u'll pass.

I still can not find, one single case where someone failed the test and was denied citizenship...
    Hi HBKHBK,

This is pretty much what my hair dresser told me. She messed up on a few questions and they asked her different ones until she passed.

    Thanks,

the one thing I know, you CAN not fail the test.
I know if you can't answer 6 out of 10 questions, they'll just ask you more, until you get 6 answers right.
I do not recal any incident where someone literally failed and was denied to have the citizenship due to the test.
Unless, someone truly does not speak english and could not even answer what the colors are of the U.S. flag or where the capital is.
But so far, I never heard of one incident at all, where someone failed and was denied citizenship lol

Yeah, we used to give literacy tests, etc before you could vote, but liberals outlawed that.

I'll be more worried about that when I see how people born here would do on the same test

10 and you have to get 6 correct. So passing score for new US citizens is a solid D.

This country is going to hell.

Just to add, my hairdresser took her test last year and they only asked her about 6 or 7 questions. She stumbled on a few, but they went easy on her and gave her more chances. She passed and was able to vote in the election last year.
