I'm not an expert in Mexican immigration law and what the internal politics are like. It might be no better than in the U.S., or could be worse considering that the government is even more corrupt. So whether it's what people want, I don't know.

Investigation of all crime is haphazard and ineffective. Only a very small percentage of criminals are tried and convicted.

Because of the frequency of robberies at gunpoint, travelers are encouraged to arrive during daylight hours if at all possible. If not, travelers should use extra care both within and outside of the airport. Popular tourist attractions, such as the Avila National Park, are increasingly associated with violent crime. Cross-border violence, kidnapping, drug trafficking, smuggling, and cattle-rustling occur frequently in areas along the 1,000-mile long border between Venezuela and Colombia. Some kidnap victims have been released after ransom payments, while others have been murdered. The growing number of incidents of piracy off the coast of Venezuela is of increasing concern.

actually yes i was raped by an illegal alien. but i don't hold it against them all. he was tried and convicted for his crime. since served jail time and than will be deported. so please don't make lite of rape. its not at all funny. to have to live threw the hell. so please could you find something else to refer to.

Under immmigration reform, all deportation proceedings will be halted and they will be given amnesty regardless of what crimes they committed. The 9/11 terrorists will posthumously be given citizenship and considered "victims" of the attacks and their "widows" will receive government money.

I am sorry for your pain having to experience such a horrible attack. My question to you is do you ever think about the notion that if this country enforced its immigration laws a hell of a lot better than it does now that this guy may never have had the opportunity to violate you in the first place?

Japan has a serious problem with the use of land and thus limits its immigration accordingly. 200 acres in Japan is equivalent to owning the King's ranch (853000 acres) in Texas. The same can be said with Switzerland, who has even a more restrictive immigration policy than Japan.
