  • CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT

I was granted my green card in June 2003. I now want to apply for my citizenship, however I am currently out of job. I lost my job 3 monts ago and have not been able to get another yet.
Can I still apply for my citizenship? Will I be denied based on unemployment?
What are the requirement to apply for a US citizenship and how long does the process takes?

    Thanks
    JJ

Losing your job shouldn't matter with regards to your application for citizenship. Good luck and I hope you find employment soon.
