Are you sure that you are required to file an I134, as I was under the impression that the I864 would be the correct document. I may be wrong.

Yes you can have a co-sponsor and the required income is 125% of the poverty level figure, which is listed in the instructions and is relative to the number of persons in the household.

Irl must be going through consular processing, since many consular posts require the I-134 instead of the I-864. You still want to keep an income above 125% of the poverty level for your family size (see the I-864 instructions for levels... family of 2 is around $15,600 or so).
