Just this once because it's important. I said "we'll never forget" meaning just that. But at the same time fighting into infinity isn't the answer either. That is NOT me supporting their cause. Tolerate our common hatred over what happened because that event was unfortunate but that's something that we can no longer change. But what we changed was what happened next. We pursue the perpetrators and at the same time help to broker peace in the Middle East which is the hotbed of dissent.

Have I ever said we should stop fighting in Afghanistan? Has Obama given up and "surrendered" as you put it? NO. What I'm saying is we can't fight forever as you seem to want. Eventually all wars come to an end. Over time, to obtain a lasting peace, tolerance is needed. Your version of peace is to fight until the war is won by an American victory. How do you define winning? What will it look like? Once all Muslim extremists have been eradicated from the earth?

Don't you think the US could also be partly to blame? Starting wars around the world for no good reason (Iraq)? If that nutter Pastor had carried out his Qua-ran burning, how would that look in the eyes of the world? Do you see Britons openly talking of burning Qua-ran's?

Extremism in all it's forms is the problem here and your talk of fighting into infinity solves nothing in the end. It might make you feel good about "doing something" but untimately it will be counter-productive.
