I have browsed trough a lot of sample hardship letters here. I was hoping to find one letter that would help me in constructing my own for my parents whose petitioning my older brother to the US. they are both citizens now. Unfortunately my brother was denied a visa on grounds i don't quite understand. My parents' lawyer asked them to solicit letters from all relatives and friends whom they know close enough to describe the hardship my parents are experiencing right now from separation from my brother.
    anyone willing to help? thanks

      Hi Blinded and welcome,

There are numerous samples of hardship letters on this site: http://www.immigrate2us.net

      Good luck!

Sorry, that will not help. In any event, what are you doing to help your parents?

But there is no "hardship" exemption for children of USCs who are outside the U.S.

Immigrant visas are only denied for serious reasons, like fraud and national security reasons, so there is no chance of overcoming this.

thanks for the reply, federale86 and proudUSC. i just heard that the grounds for the denial of the visa was indeed falsification of documents. but those documents were submitted more than 10 years ago when my brother was applying for a tourist visa. so you mean, there is no way my brother can go to the US? I heard from my parents thet they already paid $3000 for the waiver..

Sorry, fraud is a life time ban, but there is a waiver.
