  • Do I need to file N600 for my child?

I am about to file N400 for myself and my wife. My child is 16 and obtained PR with us in Sept 2000. I am a little confused about how to file for my child to become naturized.

Is my child automatically included in my N400 and my wife's N400 for citizenship application? If not, do we have to wait for our N400 approval then file N600 for my child?

    Thanks in advance.

You should file your N-400 and if you are citizen before he is 18, you can file N-600 for him, if he terns 18 before you are citizen than he will have to apply N-400 at this own.
