I am J-1 research scholar with MS. I want to go to my country to get PhD about the research I have done in the US.
At the same time I have been admitted to one of the Universitis in the US, where I plan to get PhD about the same subject ( hatred, prejudice and racism ) as I will have in my country.
My professor here told me that I will not get F1 visa in my country because I have PhD and INS will refuse me an entry visa based on that fact (he said that it is against the INS rules). Is this true?
thank you
