Ok, so who told him that they'll be contacting him in 3 months? Is it something that might be misinterpreted by the translator?

From the tone of that letter, seemed like they're indeed denying his K3 visa application. Just call the embassy and get a straight answer with regard to the status of his application.

they told him this, they told him 2 to 3 months, but the translator told him 6 weeks to 2 months, why does it sound like that to you, im a bit confused, they say this first part to all ppl that are refused the first time

also, they will not answer a phone there, only a receptionist, an arabic man, and he tells you, do not call here, write an email and we will answer, but i did email them, 3 times, with no response

Then maybe your best bet is going there in person during the December visit. For one, I want to see their excuse for turning USC away....
You can also send a certificates mail directly to the responsible ambassador/consul, with copy to State Dept, local rep, etc. Better yet is if you somehow can ask your congressman to do it. But taking such an aggresive tone might backfired.

I swear, if these dept and agency, have to deal with USC as opposed to immigrant/non-USC, they will already be hit with so many lawsuits and it'll made headlines in major news media. But since that're not the case, they can treat their customer like pure and utter garbage...

thanks aneri, i have been asking them on that site for some time now, i get varied answers, but it seems that alot of people steer clear of a situation like this one, i wonder why?????
