  • US Citizen petition for his/her minor brother

I need some advise on how can I, a US Citizen, bring my minor (14y.o.) to the US? Is is possible to file I-130 for a minor child (brother)? Since it would take around 6 years for the I-130 priority day to become current, and by that time he would be around 20 already. Do I have to submit some authorization from our mom (she does not mind)? We've decided to petition for him first, and several years later for my mom, so they would come to the US at approximately same time. THANKS A LOT!

You can certainly file for him, but 11 plus years, not 6.
