    Hi Everyone

    Who knows the family sponsored preferences?

    stepson (we got married when my son was under 16) of a US citizen over 21 not married.

    INS send a letter visa 2B, I thought it was 1th

      Martha, I think you need to give some more information.

      I tried to read some of your previous posts where you gave some information but you didn't give enough answers back then either.

      Can you please give the time line and what you filed and what was sent to you since filing for your son.

          Here's the February Visa Bulletin. http://www.ilw.com/govttimes/departm...te-family.shtm

          Unmarried son petitioned by USC is F-1. While if petitioned by GC/LPR, it's F-2B. It depends who filed the I-130, the USC stepparent or the GC/LPR biological parent. Either of the two can do it.
