Do I need to pay for seperate I-130 petitions for my wife and step-son, or can my step-son be included on the same petition? Also, do I apply for a K-3 visa at the same time? Thanks all.

Yes, your step-son needs a separate petition, but they would process at the same time.
Forget about K-3. Those applications are taking just as long to process as IR-1/CR-1. Considering with K-3 they would arrive in the US not as Legal Permanent or Conditional Residents (as is the case with IR-1/CR-1) and would need to apply to adjust their status, it is a waste of time and money. This has been the case for some time.**************************************
