I-90 question time to get greencard

Has anyone ever had to file I-90 for a card lost in the mail?>....and after how much time after filing did they get the plastic green card mailed to them. I am considering filing I-90 for an unrecieved green card (it's been over a year) and I don't want to waste 130 bucks if the result is to wait for another 2 years before they mail it to me.

You do not need to pay any fees due to a USCIS error. The fee will be waived if you did not receive it in the mail.

in NYC, it usually takes one year to process. i don't where you are from.
