HI! I just joined & it's good to hear others are dealing with these issues and getting advice. like erin I have been alone in this for about 3 years and now we have to do something quick. my fiance father is very sick in Mexico and he will have to go back soon. From what i've read it seems like our best bet is to get married in Mexico and then apply for th proper papers. The thing is he does have a tax ID # & pays taxes and a legal drivers licence so there are records of him being here in the states will this affect our results?

HE is illegal still Although getting the licence was easy the tax ID# has taken some time but also fairly easy?? Oh he came thru to border about 2 years ago with no papers.Comment
