Plz ready the following:
1988- went to US on B1/B2 visa got entry for 6 months. got extension for another six months in 1989. worked on EAD up to June 1992. Came to Pakistan on parole document. left after a month. Came back again to Pakistan in Jan 1993. Got B1/B2 visa again in 1994 reached US on New Years Eve the same year. At the airport immigration official took my passport for some further processing and paroled me into US. Asked me to go to the immigration court on the date mentioned on parole document. Which I never did. Stayed in US until about April 1997 and decided to comeback.Since then i never went to US
My brother A US citizen filed for me in may 1995 which became current in 2005. Filled all the required paper work, paid fees and the interview in Islamabad embassy scheduled for dec 28 2007.
Where the counselor officer had all the visa details on me.She said your case need further investigation So she put stickers on passport and Handed me a blue sheet of paper which says "Your case has been temporarily refused for further administrative processing. We cannot give you a definite date when the processing will be completed, but the minimum time is approximately six weeks. There is no maximum time limit.
When your case is approved, we will call you to request your passports, so that we may put visas into them. When you are requested to return your passports, please send them by ...................................................................."
Can some one tell me where I am heading? I have no idea what to expect next. Should I get help from a lawyer?
Please help. Thanks in Advance
