Let's start with a classic.... lmao...

    "Crossbar double rigged beans"...

    1 lg. can Ranch beans
    1 can lima beans, drained
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can chili beans
    1 can butter beans, drained
1/2 to 1 lb. bacon, cut up
    1 c. ketchup
    3/4 c. molasses
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 onion, chopped
    2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1 habanero pepper, seeded, chopped

Fry bacon crisp; add onion, peppers and cook. Add ketchup, molasses and brown sugar and cook for a few minutes. Add all kinds of beans. Put in a 3-quart covered casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. This stuff can also be prepared using a campfire or any camping gear...

Serve with biscuits or sourdough bread and you'll have true, down to earth cowboy chuck.

Warning... Keep your rumps AWAY FROM THE CAMPFIRE after eating this... lmao

And here's some desert to go with - lol. This is the best cake ever! Ice it with buttercream frosting and you will be in heaven!

There are no eggs in this chocolate wacky cake, and mixing is easy.

    Prep Time: 5 minutes

    Ingredients:
    1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
    1 cup sugar
    3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 teaspoon vinegar
    5 tablespoons vegetable oil
    1 cup cold water

    Preparation:
In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt. Make three wells in the flour mixture. In one put vanilla; in another the vinegar, and in the third the oil. Pour the cold water over the mixture and stir until moistened. Pour into 8 x 8-inch pan. Bake at 350?F. oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until it springs back when touched lightly.

What does food have to do with immigration?

Food is perhaps one of the most identifiable elements of any culture. In fact, things most take for granted in the United States are the product of what we all know as the "melting pot".

Things like pizza, bbq, tex-mex and lasagne are the result of an evolutionary process that originated with immigrants that came to the United States a very long time ago.

So, yeah, food has everything to do with immigration, at least in the United States!

I can relate recipes to politics but to immigration still not buying it. Recipes to Politics because we need to teach Democrat Women on how to cook delicious meal and feed their husband and kids. Bring back the American family values back.
