K3 Visa and I 130

I have just sent to the National Visa Center the Affidate of Support Forms and the DS-230 forms on my husband because we had gotten word that our I 130 form had been approved. We had also filed for a K3 Visa and I just recieved word that that was approved. My question is what happens now that I have 2 approvals? Do we forget about the K3 Visa and wait on the I 130 approval? I am very confused now since both have been approved. And also can anyone tell me what time frame the Visa Center has in sending out notification once they have recieved the above mentioned forms? I am looking at weeks or months still? My husband is in Pakistan.

Immigrate2us.net is an excellent idea.... I know of someone whose I-130 was approved just before the K-3. Apparently they are going to interview, but for the I-130, which will make it nice for when he enters the US.

We applied for the I 130 on November 17, 2003...same time as the K3. A real big surprise to us that the I 130 was approved on May 20, 2004! The K3 just was approved on August 8! This is why we are confused! We thought that the K3 would be faster.

I hope you are a Citizen, and if you have an approved I-130, it will take 6 to 8 weeks to reach Islamabad, and another two/three months
for Consular processing near about six month for him to join you. wish you all the best.
