  • Need advice on N400 form

Im filling out my N400 form for my citizenship. My spouse has an overstayed tourist visa for more almost 2 years. What should I write down on my spouse's immigration status? Should I write "tourist," "overstayed," "out of status,"? Of course I dont want to lie or hide my spouses immigration status.

Proceed with caution. Providing this information on N400 (even though necessary) may jeopardize your spouse's stay in the US. Consult with experienced immigration attorney.
