A Victim of Green Card Marriage Scam Speaks Out

You won't get an answer, Thoughtful. It's not her job to provide answers or evidence, apparently. If we want to 'know the truth', we're supposed to hire private investigators and use the email addresses and phone numbers she's provided - most of which are bogus, or by her own admission, won't be answered.

Here are the facts as far as we've been able to investigate for free, cos we sure ain't wasting any money on this! And if I miss any points or make any errors, please feel free to correct me. LOL

1) She met Godwin Uzamere in 1979. She alleges that she knew him then as Ehigie Uzamere and didn't think to question the point at the moment a) she filled out the I-130 for Godwin, b) the marriage license was to a Godwin, and c) Godwin was the father's name on Tara's (the daughter) birth certificate. So the only 'proof' we have that Godwin is Ehigie is some very poor photos and her word. Neither of these things would be admissible.

(n.b. - It is also noteworthy that none of the evidence provided for the case Uzamere vs. Bush et al included a copy of an actual marriage certificate. The marriage license was provided, but that specifically states that it is NOT a marriage certificate.)

2) Allegedly in 1980, Godwin returned to Nigeria, never to be heard from again. This is also the year Tara was born.

(n.b. - It is also noteworthy that people searches pull up conflicting reports on who Tara Uzamere is. Is she her mother's age? Is she 27? Does she exist? The world may never know.)

3) In 2006, Cheryl posts to a website (http://jamaicamecrazy.com) stating that she cooked a recipe for her boyfriend at the time which induced a sexual encounter. I only mention this because adultery is grounds for divorce in the state of New York and the fact my awesome wife tracked it down still makes me giggle.

4) In March(?) 2008, Cheryl receives an eviction notice for lack of rent payment. She is also behind on a student loan provided by the government.

5) In March(?) 2008, Cheryl files a lawsuit against Ehigie Uzamere, his attorney, and his family claiming that her marriage to his was illegal because he was previously married at the time and that he owes for back child support (see video of Sen Ehigie Uzamere's 25th wedding anniversary...you really should. So many cool hats!).

6) April 2008, after delays with USCIS, the State Department, and some people who are thinking "WTF?", the lawsuit is expanded to include the President, Sec. of State, the entire State Department, YouTube (for pulling one of her videos), Yahoo! (for pulling down an inflammatory website), John Doe (because you can't sue Anonymous), and various other parties who had the audacity to call her certifiable and/or someone trying to skate out on her bills. Her case is dismissed without chance for appeal and the judge calls her 'vexatious'. He was very polite.

7) May 2008, Cheryl's new website goes live, we get a visit, and the fun begins.

1) In the discussion board where I uploaded my first post, I was eventually met with such scorn that I took it upon myself to leave and start my own discussion board.

2) Not only did the individuals who defamed my character follow me to the board I started, but they proceeded to engage in the same course of conduct.

Now if you don't like someone or what they stand for, why follow them around?

Cheryl, if you truly wish to be able to control what someone posts and to where, then I suggest you start your own forum on your own website. You can limit the access to it the same way you've done to your YouTube comments and parts of your website. That way, you won't have to worry about anybody raining on your parade, particularly not cyber-Hitlers, cyber-bullies, cyber-stalkers, Nigerians, lynch-mobs, losers, iggy-bins, stupid people or men with no cojones.
