WHAT IS ISLAM?

I am struggling to understand what is Islam in this day and age. Is Islam for Terrorism, Is Islam Against Terrorism or Is Islam The Terrorism? I have no clue to either of it as I am still researching it, but my request to you is only put intelligent comments supporting with facts and proving one of the following:
1) Islam is for Terrorism.
2) Islam is Against Terrorism.
3) Islam IS TERRORISM.

Islam is a religion. The people following it are called islamists. The people practicing it, are called muslims. Islam itself has noting to do with terrorism.

Very sad indeed . I see Muslims everywhere now I feel scared to fly after 9/11. I get scared when introduced to a Muslim. I get scared when I see a Middle Eastern person. True and Sad, but it is the fact.

That is stupid - and I think if someone is so narrow minded, they deserve to experience stresses like this.

The problem with people is, that they now see all muslims as being the handful of hoodlums called Al-Quaida. It is the same as associating everybody in America with what the KKK stands for. Don't you think this is stupid?

If you're referring to those pictures, Davdah, it's not the first time WUSC has posted those sorts of things. He fails to state where they come from and, in fact, most of the photos he's shown are obviously photo-shopped.

As for you WUSC, looking in the mirror must be an experience for you, huh?

The pictures that are shown are Hamas youngsters. Hamas as we know it is a terrorist organization, at least it is perceived as such. For real, Hamas is only melitia/underground fighters that are fed up with being robbed of their land, and if you would be willing to listen to one of them and the story they have to tell, you might just change your mind. I don't want to get into all the troubles they have with Israel and the occupation of their lands etc. However, Islam the religion has the largest following in the world. We are talking all Arabian, and formerly Persian countries as well as parts of Asia, Indonesia and eastern Europe. All the inhabitans of these lands are Islamists, and they are not bad people. So to say that all muslims are bad, is plain and simply wrong and I will never give in to any profiling. Plus, since 9/11, the muslim organizational leaders have made statements and attempts to calm the situation. However, if people are not educated and attempt to paint everyone with the same brush, that is not a muslim's fault.

American's are brain washed. They only listen to heavily controlled news and have no knowledge of the other side, or the truth. You are ****ers for the sensationalism that is sold to you by the media.

I didn't dispute that there are organizations that do use children in guerilla warfare. It's common throughout African nations, in particular and it's hardly a recent trend. What I do dispute is whether the images shown are 100% real (ie, without any alteration as have been many of the pictures shown by WUSC) and if so, whether they are actually from the terrorist groups he's claiming.

Lets not forget that there are several ethnic groups that could be mistaken as Middle Eastern on looks alone, but are neither Middle Eastern nor predominantly Muslim.

That said, I don't have any desire to get in to this debate with WUSC or SOM or anyone else that holds their views. It's a tiny, narrow-minded person that lumps everyone in to one category, and those sorts of people aren't worth arguing with, simply for the fact that it's very difficult to engage in a battle of sensibility and wit when your opponent is unarmed.

Well, you are a programmer so you should know how to view the source of these pictures, just right click on the picture and then on properties. That should tell you the source of it. Second, I never claimed they are from a terrorist group. All I am trying to say is, is this what Islam teaches to their kids? To bear arm at such a young age?

I will soon post the quotes from Quran. I never said all Muslims are terrorists, did I? Did I even say Islam is terrorism? No, if people cannot keep open mind to understand my question and rather than interpreting those questions jump to wrong conclusions, I cannot do anything to change the views or perception of that individual. I am trying to have a healthy debate here and hence I said in my post that whatever you claim make sure you back it up with facts, not fiction.

I Can only Speak Of Personal experience! Islam Is Divided No differently Than any Other Belief! I See Many Islamics feuding Amongst Themselves Where I reside. There Appears To Be Much disagreement Among That Religion as Well . (Koran 8:12) "Remember Thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the believers, I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, Smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger tips of them."

In the above verse the great prophet of Islam, Mohammed, is giving step by step instructions on how to torture and kill the unbelievers if they don't follow Islam. He is clearly instructing Muslims to commit cold-blooded murder in the name of religion.
