  • Adjustment of Status Interview

An F-1 student committed theft at a local walmart. A police report was filed but the company never pressed charges. The theft is a misdismeanor in the 3rd degree. No charges were filed and so there is no conviction. The student is now married to her husband and they have an upcomming AOS appointment. At the initial filing of the paperwork, the student and her husband disclosed the police report and the fact that the case never went to court to immigration. Does anyone forsee any problems for the couple?
