  • whats with nebraska centre??????

Just wondered if anyone knows why the 129f dates havent altered since mid december...prior to that they seemed to be moving along (albeit slowly) each update...now they appear just stopped (((
when they finally do get to our date/approved how long after that does it take to complete everything.....its so difficult trying to time the sale of my house to coincide....im under the impression that london is one of the quicker processing consulates( pray thats true)
good luck and best wishes to all of those still waiting......

I don't know what is going on in Nebraska, but I do know that on Feb. 19 our application for a K-1 was approved. We filed on August 28, 2003, so they came in 5 days ahead of the 180 days they told us it would take when we filed. Anybody know how quick Tokyo is in processing the paperwork?

This is the best news I have heard about NSC in a long time. I emailed the USCIS complaint deparmtment (REPLY, Immigration [Immigration.Reply@dhs.gov]), to ask if NSC had stopped processing I-129f applications, today. This was the response (verbatim) "they will restart processing soon ... "

So, seeing that they have moved off of July, contrary to their own report dated February 20, 2004, is welcome news!!!

How did you know your application was approved? Via the USCIS status feature? Or were you contacted?

I found out we were approved by checking the online case status web page. So far nothing in the mail, but they say to wait 14 days for the notice before you start calling and asking questions.
