my wife legally lives in the US with my 6 yrs old daughter for almost 3yrs under compact of free association. she won the DV lottery for 2010 program. kentucky consular sent her DSP-122&230 forms to fill up and send back to them last april 2009. this month of july she received a letter from kentucky consular again notifying her to adjust her status to USCIS. is kentucky consular automatically inform USCIS about my wife case or my wife need to contact USCIS to ask if she's eligible to adjust? anyone out there can help us how to deal this things we appreciated. thanks

you need to contact your local USCIS office about adjusting. that is where you will send all the paperwork. Kentucky is done, no need to contact them any more.Comment

That was selfish of her to apply for the DV. If she has the right to enter and work as part of a free association compact, why is she using up a DV that should go to someone else who doesn't have the right of residence?Comment
