It occurs to me that perhaps I assumed too much in assuming you and other readers on this board would understand what "Prejudice" from my earlier post refers to. If so, please look it up. An Indian friend, now resident in the U.S. once asked me about the term. It's an important one, both historically and culturally. It refers to a shameful episode in American history which some apparently trying to repeat. This knowledge is the kind of American cultural artifact that should be maintained--it goes to the heart of our principles.
