Hi Jeanine,

I found this on another forum (a bit old, but I think it still applies based on what I read on some other sites). You also have to continue fulfilling the obligation of your H1B visa to your employer.

<span class="ev_code_BLUE">I am in a similar situation also. You can attend school when u r in H1B status. But you will not be eligible for any type of financial aid or scholarship. If you cannot meet the residency requirements for the university then you might need to pay the non-resident tution which might be as much as twice the resident tution. I will be attending school this fall 2004.</span>
