We are schleduled for naturalization interview in December.
We adopted a child (the adoption took place in Europe) and the child is now with us on a tourist (B2) visa because he's been in our custody for less than 2 years and he cannot get an immigrant visa while we are PR. His permit (I-94) expires in January.
What should we do to keep the child here until our naturalization is complete and what steps should we take after we sware in?
We cannot take the child back to his home country.
