  • I-485 transfert to ATL

I got my I-485 transfered to Atlanta for an interview (I had a misdemeanor in my record but it has been exponged) Does this has any effect on my case being processed or will it have effect on my interview??

Can this be a cause of denial??
P.S. I was charged with obstruction to an officer.
Plz can anybody? I will really appreciate. Thanks.

They will know about this when you go to your interview. Just be honest with them at your interview. This is important, Make sure that you have documentation that the misdemeanor was exponged. My dad went into his interview and he had a DUI on his record. He brought in his court orders and he was fine. If you're really worried, talk to an immigration lawyer. Good Luck!

You're welcome. I'm also going to my interview next month so I know how you feel. Let me know how everything goes.
