recently my brother-n-law was deported after serving time in prison, he has a 6 year old son that has been hopping from place to place because mom is a drug addict, at this time son lives with grandmother but he wants to be with dad, it is a possibility that son will be taken in by the state, father resided in U.S. since the age of 2 years old, now is 29. Is there any possibility that he could legally reenter the U.S.

No way he will be allowed to reenter as he has been deported.there is nothing you can do at this point.
