  • AOS interview

I am married to my USC husband for almost 3 years. We filed for AOS just after we got married. A few months later we had difficulties in our marriage and had been separated. Then I met someone who's also USC and he seemed serious about having a family together. I got pregnant quickly. Three months later I left him when he became abusive. Right after, my husband and I got back together and been trying to work things out. My child's father who's angry and vindictive made lies to the BCIS to have me deported. March of last year, we heard from the CIS when they sent us a letter of denial of AOS. We filed a motion to reconsider with proof the reason of denial was a lie made by my child's father. Well, last month we received AOS interview appointment for next week. How do you think having a child from someone else while still married to my USC sponsoring husband would impact my AOS interview? The fact we had been separated before can be a reason of denial even we're back together? Do I have a chance to be approved? Thanks

Please tell us what lies were told and why the AOS was denied the first time.
