  • Writ of Amendus

I have an AOS pending through Mother(US Citizen) and I am getting really sick of dealing with this Green Card "name check" BS, so I was wondering if anyone here has filed a writ of amendus succesfully and got their Green cards or Citizenship through legal action? Because of INS delay, I have not been able to see my father in 13 years and I had to put myself through college by working 2 jobs, because I dont even qualify for Financial Aid. Probably, I will put my self through law school before this bull**** is over...

I think you mean a Writ of Mandamus.
13 years for a name check?
The point that you had to work 2 jobs to finance your schooling, might not fly. That's a choice you made.
The above is simply an opinion. Your mileage may vary. For immigration issues, please consult an immigration attorney.

dear still waiting: if you don't like our rules and our country, by all means, get the eff out and go back to your own third world kraphole. The US of A does not require nor need your worthless opinion about our processes, dip$hit. No one gives a rat's a$$ about your situation.....follow the rules, obey our laws, and for christ's sake learn to spell....it's called a writ of mandamus, moron, not 'amendus'....what we (US citizens) don't need to do is import more intellectually-challenged imbeciles like you.

Someone12, once again, be mindful of people's tribulations. The name calling was uncalled for. He is following the rules but getting nowhere. You are here often, you can see how people going through the process are frustrated. They vent on here and try to find solutions.
So how about you as an American pro legal immiigration I assume give credit to those going through the normal process instead of bashing them.

Couldn't locate any statistics on success. Have you looked at this as a sample writ?

sorry, but I have zero sympathy for the OP....he wants to whine and cry because his green card hasn't been delivered to him on a silver platter....well Mr OP....if your country is so efficient, why don't you move back to it? Or maybe your country is just another third world pit.....

this imbecile is definitely completely insecure, has lost his job to more intelligent people, maybe flipping burgers now. I would say, go get that GED completed, learn to somehow move out of that trailer, and get on with the world.....

If you want an inexpensive lawyer in the Atlanta region specifically for a mandamus case I'd recommend Charles Kuck or Layli Eskandari.
