Interview after filing I-751 but no decision yet

Hi,

My ex husband is a USC. We got married in 2004 but did not file any documents until summer of 2005. In 2006 (summer) he filed for divorce - the relationship unfortunately did not work out ( this was 2 years after we got married, but only one year since I got my conditional GC). The Divorce was final in March of 2007. I filed a waver and then a filed the I-751 90 days before my GC expired. (May of 2007). They finally called me for an interview today (Jan. 27, 2009) - 22 months after I filed the I-751!
The interviewing officer did not make any indications of her decision. She did ask me who do I live with and I told her that I live alone. So here are my two questions:

1. How long does it take for her to make a decision? Will I receive something in the mail?

2. I am seeing someone currently, but I did not mention him at the interview, and he visits me often. Should I tell him not to visit me because an immigration officer might come to check if I live with someone?

3. Has anyone gotten divorced, gone through an interview and had a positive outcome?

Well that’s more than 2 questions, I am sorry. I am just very worried and appreciate your answers.

When you say, u filed for a waiver and then for the I-751, u confused me a bit haha.

The I-751 is one and only application,the waiver means,you sign off on the application on the waiver section. Anyway!

Your interview was based and asked for,on your application and evidence you submited,if any,that is...based on that,they requeired an interview with you face to face to see what the deal is.
Often when you submit a good billiant enough of evidence,an interview is not even asked,because its no seceret the marriage was indeed as real as it gets...

What questions did the officer exactly asked you? and more importantly what did you say and could u answer all the questions right without having to sweat and did it consist with your application?

You can date 10 americans, or marry another american, it will not help you one single bit to have your conditions removed.

Remember,in order to have your conditions removed, is ONLY based on your original marriage and original reason you even came here.
So the I-751 application and Interview is ONLY based on your original marriage,and that marriage ONLY!

If the a the marriage was real and lived as a married couple with all its basic supporting evidence,its usually approved,unless there is lack of evidence or suspicion,thus the Interview. Often at the interview you'll get an idea,you are safe and approved...

just remember,getting married to another us citizen while being a conditional resident,won't do you any good nor help you,to stay here or have the conditions removed...
alot people were removed from the US after the codntions were removed and they got remarried to another person...

because your i-751 application and your conditions to be removed is ONLY based on your first and original marriage and proof that marriage was real and in good faith and you enter that country for that love and reason only!

I went through the whole process but I've been very patient since I've been waiting for a very long time. My I751 waiver just got approved last week. So you shouldn't worry that much if your marriage was real and you got supporting documents. Also, you should not be nervous or lie to immigration officers. FYI, I was called in for 2 interviews.

Taking fingerprint at the interview mostly means an approval, but there are cases approved without fingerprints.

Hanamana: if your prints were taken, its mostly an approval.

MDguy: Were your prints taken at both the interviews?

Yes, my index print & signature were taken in the 2nd interview twice front & back of a white hard paper. Actually, it was in a little box.

I think those fingerprints have a one year validity from the date you do your biometrics.
Now most approvals come in a year, anything beyond that needs fingerprinting.
