My friend applyed with I-130 for his Mother and for his brother. Should`not he file the Affidavit of Support for them together with I-130 , or he has to do it later? Thank you.

He has to wait until the National Visa Center requests it. After the I-130 has been approved by the Service Center they'll forward the file to the NVC who will then request an Affidavit of Support Fee among other things to complete the file. visit travel.state.gov, click on visas and then search within that section where it will list how the whole process works. Also, I would like to ask about situation.As I applied with I-130 for my mpother and her petition is already approved, my brother`s petition is pending , and I know, it can take many years before his viza will be available.
My mother also has a fiance , who is an American citizen, and he want to apply for her for K-1 and K-2 for her son, who is almost 19y.o.
Do you think her son will have enough time to AOS before he will turn 21? And what would be better for him if his mother came on fiance viza or as a wife?
