  • successor in interest and h1-b

When an employer files an extension of H-1b but it is the successor in interest of the prior employer, does it have to explain that in the letter in support of the H-1b extension? Does USCIS require any documentation to show that the new employer is a successor in interest or the statement in the letter is enough? The employer has in the public access file an affidavit stating that it assumed all the immigration obligations concerning the H-1b employee.
