If you READ it carefully, it says that VAWA was reauthorized, not IMBRA; it says IMBRA was added on; also I believe her information is wrong; I do not believe it is a lifetime cap of 3 fiances but a 3 fiance visas during 10 years cap - either way, this is a violation of people's freedom to marry and will hurt MOB's from escaping abuse in Eastern Europe ! This will cause MORE women to be abused, not less.

I think the Act specifies 2 year interval after an approved petition for two or more applying aliens. The 10 year reference applies to mandated disclosure to beneficiary of a pending petition vis-a-vis 2 or more prior fiancé or spousal petitions.

I suppose in a way I agree that no one should tell you how many times you can marry, but there was that guy who was ordered by the court not to father any more children. I think it was in Georgia and all his kids were on welfare.

I figure that I am good for 4 more marriages; I am only 44; typical marriages last 5 years; who is the government to tell me how many times I can marry; Russia is more free in many ways than America; the women are younger and hotter and feminazis are not in power; i met an American expatriate there in his 50's who hooked up with an 18 year old; i might move there after my marriages are used up
