  • Illegal Entry into the United States

My husband is currently trying to cross the Mexican border illegally. I know that this is wrong and I tried to persuade him to wait on his visa to be approved, but he desperately wanted to be with me and our son. Is their any way of finding out where he is at or if he was caught or amything? Please help, I am going out of my mind!!

You are going out of your mind right now ... once he is in ... your mind will be completely gone.... If u can contact him ... tell him right a way not to do so ... without inspection he wont be able to adjust his status here and u will run in zillions of other troubles and start spending 1000 hrs on this board without getting any solution .... If u have filed for him then tell him to wait and be patient ... good luck... Pasha

sorry but your husband is stupid.

he can wait 8 months or what have ya -- and be here legally.

or he can risk being PERMANENTLY banned from adjusting.

why on earth would he take that risk???

Mrs. Gracia, I understand your worries. I have my own fears and they are somewhat close to yours. I is hard to be away from the people we love and it is not fair for some people to think that it is okay for children to be without their fathers. My heart goes out to your son and I hope things are okay.

            Mrs. Garcia

Don't tackle this problem with emotions only.... There are several people who did this and now they are in trouble ... but in your case still there is a chance to avoid upcoming troubles.... I can understand your concerns about family ... but most of times it's better to think with brain than heart and do things right .... My best wishes to you, your spouse and children... Pasha

You will suffer much more in the long run if he does this than if he just waits. My husband entered the United States illegally and it has really messed our life up. The only think we can do is sit and pray that something passes which will allow him to adjust status. In the mean time, we can't do much. There is always a chance, however small, that my husband will be caught and deported. It is a situation that you should avoid.
              Have a nice day
