  • LETTER TO JOHN ASHCROFT

To: Office of Attorney General John Ashcroft
    Department of Justice
    Washington D.C.
    Re: Fraudulent Marriage
    Date: April, 2004

    To the Honorable John Ashcroft;

I have contacted the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services in regards to what is a clear case of immigration fraud. The person in charge of the I-751 unit told me that there was nothing I could do and that the foreigner who committed this crime has more rights than I do as a U.S. citizen. I was shocked by this attitude, especially following the September 11 attacks.

As I researched the matter, a number of cases occurred where courts have remanded some of these cases back to the Board of Immigration Appeals and I have read many stories of people bragging about getting conditions removed after divorces. It seems very possible that the person who victimized me, my family and the United States may get away with this crime. I am not allowed to file a criminal complaint against this person who defrauded me and that is wrong. We have created a situation where a criminal has more rights than a victim.

It seems that immigrants with fraudulent intent have learned that the Conditional Permanent Residence Status is a joke. Once they get this conditional status, they know they can file for any number of waivers. One of these waivers can be divorce. As a matter of fact, a divorce can get conditions removed earlier than if they stay married. The only people who are punished by this system are legitimate couples who have to deal with the expenses and paperwork while BCIS rubber stamps approvals regardless of the situation.

I know that my small situation is not the worst thing in the world. However, I strongly believe that undermining our laws will create worse problems for us in the future. I am asking for your office to get involved in this matter and I would be available to tell any court or committee that this was not an innocent victimless crime. I was hurt and my family was hurt by this vicious person. I am not asking for revenge but only seeking justice and to see that the laws of the United States to be carried out. I am attaching my last letter to BCIS for your review.

    Respectfully,

    Michael

      What a bunch of BS!

Dude, the country is in a WAR time, no one has time for your little stupid complaint.... go watch Donald Trump's show, instead of wasting everyone's time.

      IMHO, go find a hobby!

I saw on TV yesterday that they brought back shock therapy, you may want to try that and see if it works for your mental state.

Oh yea we are really in a war state. Our military budget and manpower has been going down and the civilian population hasn't been effected one bit. Millions of illegals are pouring over the border unchecked. The only way to get anything done is by fighting for yourself. If I get this monster out of MY couintry, that will be one less terrorist in America !

the INS "off the record" position is simple:

*you* brought this person to this country. It's *your* fault, not theirs now it didn't work or you got used.

Next time, think wisely before filing that i-130.

You don't think the INS doesn't know what's going on when they see a hot filinpo with a old geezer fat american? They weren't born yesterday. They just stamp the approval, and *you* deal with her. They could care less when the fat geezer comes crying later when he realizes he got used. Not their problem. They're too busy approving more filipino braods with fat old amerians.

Off all the clowns in Dubya's administration. Asscroft is by far the worse of the bunch. Patriot Act is a complete joke, and they still can't do a **** thing about terorism. Might as well give the FBI unlimited power to do whatever they want with complete disregard of american's privacy and rights.

Ashcroft isn't elected. You fail the citizenship test and will now be deported.
