    your reply is irrelevant & sentimental.You should support your view with legal position on the issue. Lots of LPR'S remain out side US for different reasons and that does not mean they have no intention to reside in US.
    It is permissible by law that an LPR can be out of US up to 364 days maximum without having to obtain Re-entery permit, so why should a LPR will be at risk as long as he does not violate any immigration laws. Can you answer this question??
