Finally, my wife priority date for a visa number became current last month base on an approved I-130 petition for a relative filed on 3/1/2001. Immediately after that we applied I-485 for her adjustment of status in Chicago. Around mid June we received I-797C notice of action asking us her to go for finger prints.
When I checked the case status on line it says it take form 120-180 days to process these type of cased, however when I checked the 1-485 processing time for Chicago online it indicates one year processing time so
Does anyone have an experience with Chicago office for I-485 and what is the typical processing time now a days

Hi.
Current processing time is June 2004.
My friend filled her I-485 to Chicago DEC 2004.
Fingerprints done in Feb 2005. No answer till now.
