B2 visas for those elligible for the visa waiver program are very few and arouse suspicion at the Embassy/Consulate. In any event, you cannot live in the U.S. on a B2. CBP will also examine a visa waiver elligible with a B2 very closely on each visit. If it appears to be being used to live in the U.S. then the person will be removed under expidited removal.
If you do get a B2, then come here for six months and apply for an extension as many times as possible. CIS does not examine these applications closely and routinely approves them. You will get at least 2-3 6 month extensions before they get wise to you. Then hopefully the fiance will be a USC by then and you can adjust. However, a smart CIS officer will notice the pattern and may deny the adjustment based on fraud. It is a risk. Coming in and out on the visa waiver every 90 days is also risky and a pattern of abuse of the program and you can be removed very easily at the airport under a refusal. The best bet is a student visa. Generally good for 4 years and you get a college degree out of it, but it is expensive. You have to show how you will pay for it.

Chances of a B2 in this case vary between slim and nil.

Water, please forgive me but have you read all the advice given to you previously in all your other threads?
There has been members who have given you the options for your soon to be ex and his fiancee.
If they want to be together so soon, would he not consider going to the UK instead?
If she is a student..maybe her parents can sponsor him over there.

UK citizen can stay in the US for a max of 90 days a year. if they get a B-2 visitor visa and lets say they get a visa for 5 years or 10 years, they can stay for 6 months max. then they have to go back. how long do they have to go back for before they can come back for another 6 months? is it difficult for a student in the UK to get a 5 or 10 year b-2 to the US? a friend is a LPR and would like to have his fiance, a UK citizen, stay with him after their marriage until he becomes a citizen and files for her. he is just exploring what options he has for spending max time with his lady after marriage. thanks.
