Actually, the correct question is how long was the I-130 petition pending- meaning how long was it from the time the I-130 was filed to the time it was approved?

I am not talking about priority date. I am talking about the date when petition was approved.

Hi Tak, she was about 14 or 15 on the day of the priority date.

My parents petition from US Citizen grandfather is almost current. At the time of the priority date my sister about about 15, now she is 23. My lawyer is saying that she might not be able to adjust with my parents because she has aged out, but we have lots of relatives who are coming from India through family petition and their kids are over 21 and some even 25. Is the CSPA up to the interpretation of the immigration officer or is it a fixed ruling? What are my options and what are the possibilities?
