Newguy, the biometrics at taken at Application Support Centers, and they ask for identification to verify the identity of the applicant only, so it shouldn't matter if the ID or passport is expired. The security guard at the door will probably look at the picture only and compare the name in the appointment letter with the name on the ID/passport. I have been to the ASC at least 3 or 4 times, so that is my experience. Anyway, it would be a good idea to renew the ID, if that is possible, just to make sure. Good luck.

newguy, even though u miss that appointment for biometrics, i think usually u can go there every fixed day(say tuesday)depending on that service center.

So u can take your time to renew the ID by this time.

If she already applied for the renewal
of passport bring the reciepts and her old passport plus the Notice from the USCIS.

Maybe you can explain to the USCIS officials
that it takes 10 days for the renewal.Im not sure if it will work..if not they might reschedule the FP.

Or you can call USCIS and asked see what they say.
