Feb 2005 seem far off from Aug 2005 which is when my friend sent in her AOS papers and she had her interview on 06/23/06 .So in ther words they are not so accurate.

Processing dates show the LATEST case USCIS is working on. It means that theis is a case in theirsystem thats is very old as you state. Most filed by the date shown on the processing dates will therefore have been processed already, as was the case with your friend.

Marasmus I dont think u r seeig my point. As u said the date indicates the most current one thy are working so if the most recent one is Feb 2005 for AOS then how come my friends AOS papers have been processed and approved and sHe only sent them AUG 2005.

              Cheese,
              You fool, you cant read!!!

I said its the OLDEST case they are working on ie the latest case that was filed (not recently filed).

If your friends case was received in Aug 2005, but the oldest case they have per the processing times is Feb 2005, what is so hard to understand there?

It simply means that USCIS has a very old case, and your friend's was not one of them.
