Driving without Drivers License in CA? (Possible Penalty)

We know that most of the Illegal alien here is driving without any fear to be caught by cops.. What are the possible penalties? Tickets? Impound car? or go home straight to their country?

if you have no id of any kind -- car gets towed and u get ticket back at the station.

how about CA ID?

depends on the officer. if he runs the id and comes back with no warrants, etc. -- he may allow you to drive back home (but he'll give you a ticket).

Gotta remember, cops don't like people with no id whatsoever. The guy could be a serial rapist in front of them and they'd have no idea. Lots of felons carry no id cuz they think they'll get away with it from cops who'll just send 'em on their way if they "forget it at home".

no id usually means trip downtown (unless you seem legit like wearing business clothes, 3 kids in the back, and coming back fro walmart).
