pls. help, filing I-485

My husband was naturalized this afternoon, now we're just filling-up the form for my adjustment of status, now my question is, do we still have to put his alien# in the forms?

In his Certificate of Naturalization, there is CJS Registration No. which is the same with his A#. The Greencard was surrendered after the ceremony so I thought there will be no more A# for him. We are quite confuse, pls. advice... Thanks.

If your husband is a citizen put down "N/A" where it asks for the alien #.

If they give you a hard time about it tell sug said it was ok

If he had an A# fill it in. The Certificate of Naturalization has its own number too.

So the forms ask for A# only which is for LPR, for US Citizen put N/A. please verify, thanks again.

Put N/A where the A# is requested. Your husband is now a USC. Had a similar experience in the past.

Now don't put EMC into the EMR. A# is a constant and it ties all other immigration activities to one person, regardless of name and status. If EMC indicates that her husband naturalized, USCIS is going to have to pull the file to check on that anyway. What's the big deal? Put the frickin' A # on the form and have done with it.

I think its time to call USCIS but you know i had a bad experience too from calling the 1800 that is why I consult this forum first because this forum helped us a lot since we started I-130.
